Christ's Message of Love:
Christ's Message of Love being the basis of the movement, YMCA religious activities have been the main thrust of the association, through, its Christian Emphasis programmes and activities such as World Week of Prayer, United Good Friday Services, Bible Quiz Competition, Conventions, Conferences, Prayer Breakfast Meetings, Interfaith dialogues, Seminars, Symposiums, Christian Musical Night and Christmas and Easter Celebrations. Thereby the YMCA programs encourage spreading Christ's Message of Love.

World YMCA/YWCA Week of Prayer and World Fellowship

YMCA Visakhapatnam strictly observes the World YMCA/YWCA Week of Prayer every year on the theme given by the World Alliance of YMCAs & YWCAs. Prayer Meetings are conducted at members' residences.

United Good Friday Service:
YMCA Visakhapatnam conducts Ecumenical United Good Friday Service every year on the Good Friday Day.

Bible Quiz Competition:
YMCA Visakhapatnam conducts Bible Quiz competition for the School Children and Sunday School Children every year to develop their Biblical knowledge.

Christmas Celebration:
YMCA Visakhapatnam celebrates Christmas by inviting Non Christian friends, officials in the city and shares the message of the birth of the Messiah by Singing carols, cutting the Christmas cake and having a fellowship dinner.

United Easter Celebration:
YMCA Visakhapatnam in association with Calvary Baptist Church and other local Churches celebrates the Easter at R.K. Beach every year and shares the joy of Easter by singing and Skits.

Preacher Day & Teachers Day Celebration:
YMCA Visakhapatnam observes 5th September as Preachers' Day and Teachers' Day every year and felicitates few Pastors and Christian Teachers in the city on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Andhra Christian Maestro Rev. P. Purushothama Choudhury (Preachers Day) and former President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (Teachers Day).

Apart from these regular programmes YMCA conducts Thanksgiving Prayer, Prayer Meetings, Seminars and Leadership Training programmes in association with other like minded organizations which have similar concepts with YMCAs.
