Founders Day
YMCA Visakhapatnam observes 6th June of every year as Founders Day. The Legacy left behind by Sir George Williams (Founder), who started YMCA on 6th June, 1844 and committement to Paris Basis are reinforced into the members on this occasion.

YMCA Visakhapatnam observes World Doctors' Day on 1st July every year and felicitates & Honour few eminent Doctors in the city who are serving the communities through their Medical Profession. |

YMCA Visakhapatnam observes Children's Day on 14th November every year and felicitates and honours few children, who exhibit their talents extraordinarily in Sports and Games activities and extra curricular activities in the State, National and Inter National levels. |

Competition for School Children
YMCA Visakhapatnam conducts competitions for the School Children to develop their gifted talents in various Sports and Games and to motivate in them a healthy competitive spirit. These are some of the competitions held every year. |

Full Members Get-together & Pot Luck Dinner
The Full Members are ceremoniously inducted as per the YMCA Constitution. YMCA Visakhapatnam - Family Club conducts Full Members Get-Together and Pot-Luck Dinner periodically to encourage fellowship among the members and there by getting to know each other. Competitions and party games are conducted for all ages and prizes are distributed. Tambola (HOUSIE) is the high-light of the pot-luck dinner. |

Tourism Promotion and Travel Facilities
YMCA Visakhapatnam in association with Air Travel Association (India) working in the field of Tourism Developments and Travel arrangements in the city. The both associations jointly are doing publicity, conduct awareness meetings, seminars regarding the tourism potentials and follow up for the adequate facilities for both air travellers and train travellers and to promote tourism in the costal districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Members Monthly Meeting
YMCA Visakhapatnam conducts a Meeting on the second Saturday of every Month for all its Members, between 6:00 pm to 7 p.m. which begin with fellowship and lasts for an hour. Eminent Guest Speakers are invited to speak on selected topics such as Art, Science, Medical, Political, Environmental, Psychological, etc. which are beneficial to the Members. This also promotes acquaintance amongst the Members.
